Comp2Kids Tech Camp 2007 – July 19, 2007
This summer, Comp2Kids piloted a Tech Camp with Credit Suisse. The camp was at IS 195, Roberto Clemente on July 19, 2007 at 1 PM.

Goldman Sachs Bowlathon – February 13, 2007
The Goldman Sachs Bowlathon on February 13th, 2007 helped raise funds for Comp2Kids.
Second School-Wide Technology Blast Hits the Bronx!
We are excited to announce that the Comp2Kids program has been successfully implemented at an entire second school in the South Bronx! This past winter Comp2Kids provided every teacher and administrator at Crotona Park West with their own personal laptop computer & training.
Providing laptops to the teachers first allows them time to become familiar & comfortable with their system before incorporating technology into the curriculum. This spring technology professionals from Goldman Sachs & other corporations volunteered their time to provide computer training for the students & parents. Through this great effort, we were able to provide all students in grades 5 through 8 who did not previously have access to a computer with one of their very own. Special thanks to Maria Fico of the New York City Department of Education, Principal Kim Outerbridge, Vice Principal Vincent Resto, & Goldman Sachs for the tremendous effort they put forth to help bring technology into the lives of these children.
2006 Auction4Kids Fundraising Event and Gala
On the evening of Wednesday March 29th, 2006, over 300 attendees filled the grand ballroom of Tribeca Rooftop in support of the 2006 Auction4Kids Fundraising
Event & Gala.
The beautiful weather allowed guests to take in the sensational views from the venue while enjoying live music, delicious food, and great company. Among the amazing items auctioned off were premier Broadway tickets, trips to Tuscany & Australia, original art work, and fine jewelry. Through everyone’s tremendous generosity, we were able to raise over $160,000 which will be used to purchase
approximately 800 personal computers for students and teachers at
Crotona Park West & other New York City public schools! The positive spirit
& compassion for Comp2Kids was felt by everyone who attended this unforgettable event. We hope to see you again next spring!
April 2005
Comp2Kids volunteers spent hundreds of hours providing technology training for parents and students over three consecutive weekends. Comp2Kids delivered home computers to the students at Harlem’s Roberto Clemente Intermediate School, completing our rollout to Roberto Clemente. Comp2Kids has provided every student who did not previously have one, with their own home computer.
May 2004
Comp2Kids volunteers personally delivered 130 Per Scholas computers to each sixth grade student at Harlem’s Roberto Clemente Intermediate School.
February 11, 2004 - Love4Kids Valentine’s Day Wine Tasting
The Love4Kids Wine Tasting Event was a great success, raising funds to provide computers for the children of Roberto Clemente Intermediate School.
September 22nd, 2003 - Auction4Kids: A Comp2Kids Benefit and Wine Tasting
Our auction was a huge success! Hundreds of children will know that people really care about their future; and will be amazed to get a computer, as they have never had one before. Hundreds of children will have computer skills when they go to apply to colleges and jobs. Hundreds of children will have a new future. What a memorable night!
November 21st, 2002 - Comp2Kids Delivers Laptops to the Teachers of Roberto Clemente School
Comp2Kids delivered laptops to every teacher and administrator at Roberto Clemente Intermediate School in Harlem's District 5. The laptops were distributed to the teachers during our Thanksgiving celebration. This was an exciting milestone toward our goal of providing personal computer for each student and teacher at this school. The BearingPoint Foundation awarded Comp2Kids a grant for the teacher’s laptops, and Bearing Point's New York Office participated in the distribution of laptops to the teachers. BearingPoint continues their involvement by sponsoring fundraising efforts and mobilizing volunteers. Bearing Point, Inc. is a dedicated sponsor of Comp2Kids.
